25 years in AKA celebrated

Delicia Long of Kokomo, left, and Dr. Louise Gombako-Amos of McComb both celebrated their silver anniversaries (25 years) as members of the Phi Mu Omega chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha during the sorority’s recent Southeastern Regional Conference in Mobile, Ala.


Hill hosts missionary at Capitol

Jorgejill S. Duyaguit, pastor and director at Faithway Baptist Institute in Calatrava, Negros Occidental, the Philippines, visited the state Capitol on Friday with his wife, Lyn, and son, Kneel. For the first time they met their longtime Facebook friend, State Sen. Angela Burks Hill, in the Senate chamber.
