It’s hard to imagine that I won’t go to another high school baseball game this season. Man has it been a whirlwind. A 14-inning thriller for the right to go to the state championship seems like a fitting end, but I really had wished it would have ended a different way.
The 2018 football season for the Columbia Wildcats was one for the ages in head coach Chip Bilderback’s first year at the helm, and the team that won 10 games a year ago is itching to take it to the next level.
“State championship ring, that’s what I want,” rising senior safety Jamison Kelly said.
