Three charged in Sandy Hook shooting


Three men have been charged with shooting into an occupied dwelling in Sandy Hook.

Lantarrious Crumedy, 18, and Cameron Shyheim Warrick, 20, both of Sandy Hook, and Jamal Cordell Smith were arrested Thursday. In addition, Crumedy and Smith are facing charges of cyberstalking.

The shooting took place May 25 at 194 Mississippi 48 in Sandy Hook, according to Marion County Sheriff’s Office Investigator Glenn Lowery. Lowery said several rounds were fired into the dwelling but no one was hurt.

The shooting remains under investigation.
