South Mississippi connection in the NFL

Jordan Thomas from Sumrall, left, swapped jersey’s with Marion County’s Logan Cooke after the regular-season finale Sunday in Houston between the Jacksonville Jaguars and Houston Texans. The rookies played together at Mississippi State, and both had solid first years. Cooke, a punter, averaged 45.02 yards (41.26 net) for the Jaguars (5-11).
