The Columbia Police Department is considering replacing its aging fleet of Ford Crown Victorias, like the one seen above, that are about a decade old. The department also has Ford Tahoe SUVs that it’s looking at selling. Police Chief Michael Kelly is checking on how much the Tahoes would sell for.

City considering new police cars


New police cars were one of the main topics at the Columbia Board of Aldermen meeting Tuesday night.

Police Chief Michael Kelly said they had four Crown Victorias that are 9 and 10-years old. They also have four Tahoes they are considering replacing.
