Reward offered in Foxworth armed robbery


The Marion County Sheriff's Department and Metro Crime Stoppers are offering a reward of up to $1,000 for tips that lead to an arrest in connection with the armed robbery of Cox’s Triangle store in Foxworth on Thursday, Aug. 22. 

“We really need the public to take a close look at the security camera pictures and call us if you know who did this,”  Diane James, executive director of Metro Crime Stoppers, said in a news release.

To be eligible for a cash reward tipsters must first get an I.D. number by calling 601-582-STOP(7867) or go to  There is also a free App available called P3 Tips.

All tips and calls are completely anonymous. Tipsters do not give their names and are identified by I.D. numbers.
