Ice cream goes up in city schools

If you’ve got a sweet tooth in the Columbia School District, be prepared to pay more.

Ice cream in the city schools is going up from 50 cents to 75 cents.

“Right now we’re paying 49 cents and charging 50,” Superintendent Jason Harris told the board Sept. 13. “Most people we’ve spoken with are at $1.”
