Monday, Nov. 26
Crews from Precision Construction removed a bridge on East Reservoir Road near Bunker Hill Road late last week. It’s part of work to replace or repair several bridges in Marion County with the help of a $3 million bond issue that the Board of Supervisors approved in the fall.
The following entities incorporated in Marion County in November, according to records filed with the Mississippi Secretary of State:
• Babs Jewels LLC, 1117 Broadmoor Ave., Columbia
• Loose Ends LLC, 1824 Columbia Purvis Road, Columbia

Marion County Sheriff’s Office deputies have arrested nine people on an array of drug charges and are seeking three more as part of an operation nicknamed “Up to Snow Good.”
According to Sheriff Berkley Hall, the roundup targeted Marion County drug dealers and others found to be in possession of narcotics.
