COVID-19 Closures & Updates

Renew driver’s licenses online

Mississippi driver's license stations will be closed through at least March 31, although license renewals can still be made online.

The Mississippi Department of Public Safety said in a news release that it would reassess the situation on March 31.


Crown Club event postponed

The Junior Auxiliary Crown Club Presentation, which was scheduled for March 21, has been postponed.

As the event is expected to have more than 250 people, it was deemed by JA to be in the best interest of everyone involved to work with Columbia Academy to reschedule the event.


MCSD receives award

Marion County School District Superintendent Wendy Bracey and Board President Richard Culliver received the Lantern Award for earning an accountability rating of B on behalf of the Marion County School District during the Mississippi School Board Association’s annual conference in February.
