Friday Night Lights: CA falls to PCS, West stays perfect

For the second year in a row, the West Marion Trojans will enter Region 8-3A play undefeated after topping Vancleave 33-7 on the road Friday night. Meanwhile, PCS proved to be too strong for Columbia Academy to handle on its homecoming night in a lopsided 41-22 loss, and East Marion won a shootout at Bogalusa 48-44.

Eagles turning the corner

After losing their first five games of the season by an average of more than 10 runs per game, the Eagles have turned things around.

East Marion (3-5, 0-4) won its last three games by a combined score of 49-8 and could viably compete for a playoff spot if the hot streak continues.
