Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, July 17, 2019, in Colonial Funeral Home Chapel for Clinton L. Brady, 89, of Foxworth, who died on Monday, July 15 at his residence. Burial followed in Woodlawn Cemetery. Rev. Willie Martin officiated at the services. Visitation was held from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Tuesday, July 16 at Colonial Funeral Home.
He was born on May 10, 1930, in Ellisville. He served in the United States Army Reserves. He was a retired tool pusher and a member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lilly Gertrude Brady; grandson, Tim Jones; parents, Ezra Melton Brady and Nellie Rebecca Simmons; sisters, Elva Coats, Jewel Graves, Onnie Ross, Dovie Hamilton, Rachel Cravens and Edwina Stassi, and brothers, Ezra Brady, Olin Brady and Joe Brady.
Survivors include his children, Linda Jones (Jackie), Benny Brady, William Brady and Sylvia Robbins; seven grandchildren, Anita Brown (David), Tejay Brady (Sandra), Adam Brady (Belinda), Gary Jones (Daphne), Jennifer Dillon, Brandon Amundson and Zack Brady; 10 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
