Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 22, 2019, at Baker Funeral Home for Elizabeth “Norine” Sims Stuckey, 88, of Baker, La., who passed away peacefully on June 15. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Baker. Rev. Arnold Austin will officiate at the services. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until the time of services on Saturday, June 22 at Baker Funeral Home.
Born on Oct. 24, 1930, in Columbia, she moved her family to Baker, La., in 1962. She enjoyed cooking, traveling, chatting with friends, but loved her family most of all!
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 61 years, Charles Gilbert Stuckey; father, Henry Harmon “Buddy” Sims; mother, Nanny Beatrice Wade Sims; stepfather, Harold Hammond Latimer; brother, Lonnie Harmon Sims; son, Charles Christopher Stuckey; daughter-in-law, Virginia “Jenny” Smith, and grandson, Timothy Mark Stuckey Jr.
Survivors include three sons, Michael Dennis Stuckey (Laura Fleckenstein), Timothy Mark Stuckey Sr. and Patrick Brian Stuckey Sr. (Beverly White); two daughters, Dawn Stuckey Couvillion (Buddy) and Robin Stuckey Ward; 14 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Jonathan Stuckey, Patrick Stuckey Jr., Nathan Ward and Austin Stuckey.
