Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. on Friday, March 15, 2019, at Improve Baptist Church for Patsy Nell Lillis Morris, 84, of Columbia, who died on Wednesday, March 13 in Columbia. Burial followed in Improve Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Roy Pittman, Rev. Darel Daniels and Rev. Johnathan McLemore officiated at the services. Visitation was held from 11 a.m. until the time of the services on Friday, March 15 at Improve Baptist Church.

 A lifelong resident of Marion County, she was a homemaker, an active member of Improve Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School for many years and a member of Compassionate Friends of Columbia. She loved spending time in her yard and was an avid gardener. Over the years, she shared many flower bouquets with her friends and family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George Nathan Morris; daughter, Lee Ellen Morris; parents, H.Q. and Lavada Lillis, and brothers, Billy Lillis and Winston Lillis.

Survivors include her two daughters, Gwen Dale Pittman (Roy) and Becky Hoffman, both of Columbia; niece-sister, Ruth Holland; two grandchildren, Wesley Hoffman and Allyson Pittman; special friend, Peggy Robbins, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Ricky Stringer, David Watts, Chris Watts, Allen Brewer, Casey Haddox and Jerry Burt.

Memorial donations are preferred to Improve Baptist Church Scenes of Christ or the Columbia Chapter of Compassionate Friends, 17 Ginn Loop, Columbia, MS 39429.
