Terrell MVP of all-star game

West Marion alum Shelby Terrell added another award to his lengthy 2019 resume Saturday, claiming Most Valuable Player honors for the South team in the Mississippi Class 3A/4A All-Star Game.

Terrell tossed two scoreless innings, struck out four batters and even doubled in his lone plate appearance in a 9-1 victory over the North squad at William Carey University.

The Pearl River Community College signee was also recently named the Class 3A Player of the Year, The Columbian-Progress Most Valuable Player and The Columbian-Progress Pitcher of the Year.
