The Columbia-Marion County Public Library is offering students in Kindergarten through 6th grade a Summer Reading Challenge. The generous sponsorship of local businesses, organizations and individuals help the library to make this highly anticipated program possible. The community’s involvement and support makes these reading programs successful!
This year’s reading challenge is called, “Color Our World” and will be held June 1, 2025 through July 31, 2025. The library is hoping it can count on the community’s support as a sponsor!
Your tax-deductible donation will help the library to purchase needed program supplies and provide the children with incentives to participate in the Summer Reading Challenge.
In supporting this event, South Mississippi Regional Libraries will be recognizing sponsors by placing the name or the name of a company on its Summer Reading Challenge advertising specifically: social media, newspaper articles and promotional communications. The Columbia-Marion County Public Library truly appreciates your support in helping to increase child literacy in Columbia-Marion County.
Thank you in advance for your sponsorship of our Summer Reading Challenge! If you have any questions, please contact Mona Swayze, Manager of the Columbia-Marion County Public Library at 601.736.5516.
