After a long career on the airwaves of Marion County, Ronnie Geiger signed off for the last time March 31 and opted to close the radio station.
When WFFF signed off the air for the last time March 31, it marked the end of both a beloved fixture in Marion County and the 59-year career in local broadcasting for owner Ronnie Geiger. Geiger, 75, retired after decades on the air in Columbia, and the station closed with his departure.
