On June 6, the Marion County 4-H Horse Club attended the Southeast District 4-H Horse Show at Lauderdale County Agricenter in Meridian, Miss. Six girls attended district.
Madalyn Beasley placed 11th in Stake Race Jr. 12-13. Kinley Hill placed eighth in Pole Bending Jr. 8-11, 11th in Barrel Racing Jr. 8-11, fifth in Stake Race Jr. 8-11, first in Grand Champion Open Miniature Mares, first in Grand Champion Open Miniature Geldings, fifth in Registered Grade Horse Mares, first in Grand Champion Western Geldings and fourth in Western Pleasure Jr 8-11.
Paislee Raynes placed first in Pole Bending Jr. 8-11 and first in Stake Race Jr. 8-21. Selia Kilpatrick competed in Jr 8-11 Pole Bending and Jr. 8-11 Barrel Racing. Miley Beasley competed in Jr. 8-11 Pole Bending, Jr. 8-11 Barrel Racing and Jr. 8-11 Stake Race. Katie Collier placed eighth in Goat Tying Jr. 8-13, second in Pole Bending Jr. 8-11 and 12th in Stake Race Jr. 8-11.
