The Bridge Middle School for Dyslexia, ready for its first day of school Aug. 6, held a ribbon cutting ceremony on Saturday.
The Bridge Director Shelley Putnam is welcomed by Austin Hoyle, Rebecca Haygood, Laurie Harvey and Hal Kittrell, representing First United Methodist Church where the school is located.
The school serves students with dyslexia for grades four through eight and has after-school dyslexia therapy available for students of all ages.
