Columbia Academy is proud to announce its homecoming court that will preside over festivities on Friday, Oct. 24, 2025. The night will conclude with the football game against the Bowling Green Buccaneers at James E. Pope Field. The crowning of the Queen and presentation of her court will be at halftime of the game.
Homecoming Queen Miss Presley Branch
Representing Columbia Academy this year as Homecoming Queen is Presley Branch. She is the daughter of Debbie and Joey Herrington and Jamie Branch of Foxworth.
Presley’s escort will be Reed Duncan, son of Carmen and Jeff Duncan of Bunker Hill. Vada Rose Smith will serve as Flower Girl to the Queen. She is the daughter of Lacey and Ross Smith of the Enon Community. Crown Bearer for the Queen will be Beau Branch. He is the son of Kelsey and Cole Branch of New Hope.
During her 15 years at CA, Presley has been an active member of the student body. She can be found cheering on the Cougars while serving as captain of the varsity cheer team. She is currently serving as the Student Body President and has served on the student council since junior high. She was elected Freshman Maid and Ms. Junior High by her classmates. Presley is a member of the Key Club, Mu Alpha Theta and National Honor Society. She is currently serving as co-editor of the RAGUOC yearbook. Presley enjoys giving back to the community by serving as a member of JA’s Crown Club and the Dusty Club. In Presley’s free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She loves doing crafts, cooking and spending time outdoors.
Football Maid Miss Briley Speights
Briley Speights has been chosen by the Cougars as this year’s Football Maid. She is the daughter of Melissa and Heath Speights of Darbun. Briley’s escort will be Noah Fortenberry. Noah is the son of Kayron and Clinton Fortenberry of Columbia. Briley chose Ella Stewart as her Flower Girl. She is the daughter of Elisa and Ryan Stewart of Oak Vale.
Briley is an honor roll student and a member of Mu Alpha Theta and Key Club. She is an award-winning athlete for CA’s cross country and track teams. Briley has won many awards during her time as a member of the cross country team. She has been named an All-MAIS cross country runner for four years, served as team captain and holds numerous records in track. Briley has been an active member of the Columbia Crown Club and has enjoyed volunteering her time at Harvest Ministry Camp during the summer. She enjoys shopping, hunting, fishing and going to the gym in her spare time.
Senior Maid Miss Madie Lee
The Senior Maid is Madie Lee. She is the daughter of Lesley Lee and Heath Lee of Darbun. Her escort will be Ryder Earls. Ryder is the son of Angie Earls of Goss and Mike Earls of Foxworth.
At CA, Madie is an honor roll student and has been on Mrs. Angie’s List. She is currently serving as Key Club President and is a member of the National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta and RAGUOC yearbook staff. Madie was chosen as Most Courteous by her classmates. She plays basketball for the Lady Cougars and was given the award for Best Teammate. She enjoys volunteering her time, serving her community and others as a member of Junior Auxiliary’s Crown Club and the Dusty Club, where she serves as Vice President. Madie enjoys reading, shopping with her mom and spending time with her family and friends.
Junior Maid Miss Lola Todd
The Juniors elected Lola Todd to represent their class. She is the daughter of Candace and Evan Todd of Jayess. Lola chose Zac McCain, son of Brooke Watts of the Enon community, to be her escort.
Throughout school, Lola has been on the honor roll and Mrs. Angie’s List while staying involved in various school activities. She has been a valuable member of the Lady Cougar softball team. Lola was named Defensive MVP of the varsity softball team and selected to represent CA in the 2025 MAIS Fast Pitch Futures game. When not at school, Lola loves shopping with her sister, babysitting and spending time with family and friends.
Sophomore Maid Miss Ainsley Armstrong
Representing the Sophomore Class is Ainsley Armstrong. She is the daughter of Keri and Devon Armstrong of Foxworth. Ainsley will be escorted by her twin brother, Ethan Armstrong, who is also the son of Keri and Devon Armstrong.
During her years at CA, Ainsley has been a cheerleader and a member of the CA cross country and track teams. She has won numerous individual and team awards while participating in cross country and track for the Cougars. She is a member of the Dusty Club and the Key Club. Ainsley enjoys working on the RAGUOC yearbook staff and serving others through her involvement with the student council. She works hard in the classroom to be an All-A Honor Roll student and a member of Mrs. Angie’s List. Some of Ainsley’s favorite activities away from CA are spending time with family and friends, traveling, crafting, shopping and listening to music.
Freshman Maid Miss Sydnee McCain
This year’s Freshman Maid is Sydnee McCain. She is the daughter of Paige and Corey McCain of Oak Grove. Sydney chose Collin Singletary as her escort. Collin is the son of Kristin and Chris Singletary of Columbia.
Sydnee has been a very active student during her 12 years at CA. She is a member of the Lady Cougars basketball, softball and golf teams. She loves cheering for the Cougars and serves the squad as captain this year. Sydnee was voted as Most Dependable, Best School Spirit, Beauty and Class Favorite by her peers. She excels in the classroom with her high averages and is always on the All-A Honor Roll and Mrs. Angie’s list. Outside of CA, Sydnee enjoys vacationing with her family, spending time with friends and playing on her travel basketball team.

The first presentation of the court and the pep rally will begin at 8:30 a.m. in the G. G. Flynt Gymnasium. The annual parade will begin at 1 p.m. The parade will begin at the old New Orleans Furniture location on Mississippi 13 N. and proceed through downtown Columbia ending at The Yards. At 6:15 p.m., the pre-game festivities will begin on James E. Pope Field. The Columbia Academy Cougars will play host to the Bowling Green Buccaneers. Kickoff will be at 7 p.m. Finally, the crowning of the Queen, Presley Branch, will take place at halftime of the game. -
