#1 Carson Stuart: Stuart does a little bit of everything for the Cougars offense and always finds a way to pick up chunk gains with the ball in his hands. With former bellcow Jackson Speir graduated, Stuart should lead the backfield.
#7 Bentley Myers: Don’t discount Myers because of his size. The 153-pound playmaker is a threat to take it the distance from anywhere on the field and is undeniably the fastest man on the roster.
#12 Trent Buckley: The Cougars offense reached new heights around midseason when it started feeding Buckley the ball more consistently. He thrives as a 50/50 threat outside, but he’s also an elusive runner outside the tackles.
#13 Reed Duncan: Duncan became CA’s do-it-all Swiss army knife in 2024, finding he could be even more explosive than if he was under center full time. As explosive as he is with the ball in his hands, he’s just as proficient defensively and has a knack for the big play when the Cougars need him most.
#35 Carson Daniels: With shades of Captain Insano and Thad Castle, Daniels has been the heartbeat of the CA defense for years and brings some swag to the Cougars. There’s nothing he can’t do as a linebacker, and he’ll provide some added thump in the run game at fullback.
