The Columbia High School Class of 1976 celebrated its 50-year reunion on homecoming weekend, Sept. 26-27. Classmates attended the CHS football game, tailgated in the end zone and were recognized on the field while their favorite football song, "The Horse," was played over the loudspeakers. The end zone tent was sponsored by classmate Holly Fink and Fink Chiropratic Clinic. On Sept. 27, they enjoyed a tour of the high school, getting to see the renovations that have been made since they graduated. The night featured dinner and dancing at "The Venue" on Main Street. Enjoying the weekend were Camille Leatherman Breland, Dot Jones Williams, Eddie Holmes, Jonathan McClendon, Beverly Malley Simpson, Mike Beall, Lloyd Wolfe, Stephanie Wilson, Allison Rawls Bullock, Rosemary Ball, Faye Owens, Keith Westmoreland, Pitt Pittman, Roberta Ishman Jefferson, Perry Belk, Beth Ginn Mazzanti, Isaac Brown, Janet Wells Weiskopf, Karen Parkman Lindsey, Phyllis Averett, Mike Ward, Susan Breland Wallace, Berkley Hall, Derek Mingo, Cornelia Lenoir, Mary Nell Dantin Livingston, Kay Dyess Stogner, Holly Fink, Kathy Fortenberry Bryant, Eddie Hartwell, Sandra Stampley Beard, Marc Wascomb and Kathy Regan Labue.
