#1 Tra Lewis: The reigning Marion County Most Valuable Player was one of the top offensive threats in the county last season and undeniably the best defensive player. He’s come back for his senior season even more explosive and should author an even more impressive campaign.
#6 Ashton Daniels: Daniels burst onto the scene in 2024 to become Marion County’s leading rusher. With top-end speed, excellent vision, great balance and even more power than his frame would suggest, he is every coach’s dream running back.
#12 Clydarrien Peters: While his above teammates are arguably the top two backs in Marion County, Peters is arguably the most explosive playmaker. Get the ball in his hands in space, grab some popcorn and watch him light up the scoreboard.
#15 Greyson Carney/#17 Jonathan Lowery: Carney and Lowery are battling it out to be QB1, and both have the ability to be sneaky playmakers for the Wildcats. While Columbia doesn’t need them to do too much with its explosive run game, they will need to make a few plays each game to keep the chains moving.
#50 Tyson Thompson: Out of necessity, Thompson is kicking inside from tight end to right guard to help anchor a line that lost a pair of starters to the college ranks. While he doesn’t have the prototypical lineman build, Thompson’s athleticism will allow him to cut defenses in half by climbing to the second level.
