Man, every time we turn around there is more lunacy being thrown into our society that if you actually pay attention to the daily 24-hour news cycle, you are likely to continually lose brain cells until your brain slowly turns to mush.
What is bothering me the most is how much we are letting people who should have absolutely zero say in how we act as a society have a big voice. Take for instance Coca-Cola CEO James Quincey. He went on all the networks, the left-leaning networks we should say, and talked all about how the new voting law in Georgia was unacceptable and a step backwards for the state.
He even went as far as to say that the legislation should be remedied by lawmakers. Who actually cares what the Coca-Cola CEO has to say? Since when is that a valuable opinion in our society? He should probably spend more time focused on how to slow down type-two diabetes, which Coca-Cola has played a big role in.
Now let’s get into Vice President Kamala Harris. She was appointed by President Biden to be the czar when it comes to the border crisis. But with all of the inhumane situations that these children are living in right now under the current administration, she has yet to come out and hold a press conference and talk about it even though she supposed to be the head of it.
If the situation was reversed and this was the Trump administration, he would’ve been crucified for how things are going right now with these facilities. He was vilified several times over for conditions at the border, in fact. But so many mainstream media outlets are giving her and Biden a free pass.
And how about the NCAA. The supposed non-profit organization recently came out and said that no championships will be held in the state of Mississippi following the new law that requires biological males and females to compete only against other athletes who were born the same sex. Basically that means transgender athletes have to compete as the gender they were born.
That should be common sense. Males are genetically dispositioned to be stronger, faster and bigger than females. That is not a dig to women in the slightest; it’s merely a scientific fact. Yet the NCAA strongly opposes the legislation and is taking all these steps to vilify Mississippi just like it did for nearly two decades because of the state flag.
Who is the NCAA to have a voice? Their primary focus should be on the student athletes. They want to talk about gender equality, but look at what happened at the NCAA women’s tournament where their weight rooms were vastly inferior to the men’s weight rooms. How is that equality?
Separating the sexes in athletics has always been the right call, and that will never change. There are millions of terrific female athletes, and they should have every right to compete solely against other biological females. This latest decision is just another political correctness ploy that has gotten completely out of hand.
The latest news by far is the worst of them. There is currently a bill on the table to “pack the court” for the Democrats. For those of you who aren’t aware, the proposal would increase the Supreme Court from nine members to 13, allowing the Biden administration to appoint four new Supreme Court Justices. As Rep. Ken Buck, R-Colo., said on Twitter, that would be “a full assault on the independence of the federal judiciary.”
The balance of the Supreme Court is meant to be cyclical, allowing both parties the opportunity to establish laws and legal precedence. Creating a random number like 13 and appointing four new Democrat justices would tip the scales to the left 7-6. That isn’t democracy. What it is, is abhorrent.
