Hopeful Hearts Animal Rescue will be hosting its first annual Bark in the Park Saturday at the Columbia Water Park complete with adorable rescues, arts and crafts, food truck and vendors.
Event Organizer Amanda Lambert said that all vendor fees and money raised will go to help Hopeful Hearts pay for medical bills for its rescues.
“I wanted a community event to not only help our rescue but allow some really talented artists, crafters and local businesses to get out there,” she said.
The event, which begins at 10 a.m. and concludes at 5 p.m., will include a silent auction, pet pageant, pupcake walk and more.
All of the rescues that will be on hand have been fully vetted, fixed and microchipped through HHAR.
