If you want to make donations this holiday season, there are a pair of worthwhile causes in Marion County to contribute to.
As it does every year, the Marion County Sheriff's Office has partnered with Children’s of Mississippi for its Annual Holiday Donation Drop Off, which is currently active and extends through Wednesday, Dec. 18. All of the toys will go to children spending their Christmas at the hospital, and donations can be dropped off at the sheriff's office at 219 Broad St. during normal business hours. The sheriff’s office will also pick up donations if contacted at (601) 736-5051.
