A Columbia drug trafficker was sentenced to 25 years in prison by Judge Prentiss Harrell Friday and will serve all 25 years day for day.
Evan Lampton, 36, was initially charged with two counts of trafficking while in possession of a firearm, tampering with evidence, two counts of the sale or transfer of a controlled substance and child endangerment, but a plea agreement was reached for just one count of trafficking a controlled substance.
During a search of Lampton’s residence, investigators found 106.66 of methamphetamines, a bag with 21.41 grams of crack cocaine, a bag with 6.28 grams of crack cocaine, another bag of 1.78 grams of crack cocaine, 28.27 grams of marijuana, nine dosage units of ecstasy, 36.38 grams of powdered cocaine and three firearms with a child in the house.
