A Foxworth man, Mason McMullin, was arrested Thursday by the Marion County Sheriff's Office for allegedly torturing, committing sexual acts with and killing animals on video.
The sheriff's office received information about the case Thursday, and after interviewing McMullin, 24, a search warrant was served at his residence. A second search warrant was executed Friday that uncovered further physical and video evidence, according to a press release issued by the department.
McMullin has been charged with seven counts of aggravated animal cruelty and two counts of unnatural intercourse.
He is currently being held at the Marion County Regional Correctional Facility on a $500,000 cash bond.
The sheriff's office reported the investigation is active and ongoing with more charges expected.
