There’s a reason the Columbia Police Department decided to take a second look at Nancy Bass in the death of Joseph Woodward.
Lt. Jonathon Martin first reported that the department found that Woodward was malnourished and showed several signs of neglect when he died at the age of 39 in 2021 while in the care of Bass.
