#5 Camron Waller: After leading the county in receptions in 2024, Waller is positioned to have an even bigger season on both sides of the ball. A great route runner with run-after-catch ability, the 6-foot playmaker is also a ballhawk in the secondary and could lead the county in interceptions.
#7 Amari Hill: If East Marion can unlock Hill’s tantalizing skillset, the Eagles offense could soar in 2025. The 6-foot-4 receiver has shown flashes of being a deep ball threat and could be a dynamic red zone weapon.
#9 Jaquez Hathorn: The Eagles plan to run the ball a ton this season, and Hathorn should be the biggest benefactor. After averaging 60 yards per game on the ground a year ago, the slashing back could threaten for the county lead in rushing.
#23 Elias Johnson: “Big Baby” proved to be an X-factor for the Eagles last season, bruising his way to pick up first downs and coming downhill to thump opposing backs in the hole. With a full year of experience under his belt, Johnson could emerge as one of the top two-way players in the county.
#55 Shamar Akins: There’s nothing Akins can’t do on the football field. He’s a stalwart offensive tackle who has shown he can take it to the house if there’s a fumble nearby, a great defensive end against the run and pass and is even East Marion’s kicker and punter.
