The Board of Directors of First Southern Bank, along with R. Scott Davis, President and Chief Executive Officer, are pleased to announce the following promotions:
Niki Dement McLeod has been promoted to Assistant Vice President. She has been employed at First Southern Bank for almost 22 years, working in the loan department as a Loan Assistant. She is a graduate of Columbia High School and completed numerous courses at Pearl River Community College. She is married to David McLeod Jr. of Columbia.
Cassaundra Martin, recently promoted to Assistant Vice President, first joined First Southern Bank’s main branch in early 2014. She graduated from William Carey University’s Honor College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration where she also competed nationally in Speech and Debate. Cassaundra is married to Rendon Martin of Purvis, and they have one daughter.
India Watts has been promoted to Vice-President. She has been employed with First Southern Bank for 38 years and has served as Head Teller/Head of Teller Operations for 12 years serving six locations. She is a graduate of Columbia High School and furthered her education at Jackson State University. She is married to Retired SFC Desi C. Watts of Columbia. They have one son, Cortez Watts of Columbia.
