COLUMBIA — Main Street Columbia, in conjunction with the Marion County Development Partnership, the Columbia Gearheads and Backroads and Burgers, presents the Columbia Food and Music Festival.
Food trucks and musical acts from throughout the southeast will be on hand from 10 a.m. through 8 p.m. and starting at 5 p.m., Main Street Columbia will be filled with cars and trucks from every generation until 8 p.m.
A few of the musical acts set to showcase their talents in Columbia Labor Day weekend are 98 West, Sick in the Summer, Big Henry and The Bad Habits, and RNR just to name a few. Country, rock, gospel and more will played throughout Downtown Columbia Sept. 2.
A familiar face that has gained quite a bit of popularity is Jonathan Beard and Crooked Letter Kitchen from Pelahatchie. Beard and his crew are known for their Cheesy Pig and Bayou Classic burgers. Other food trucks include J’s Kettle Corn, C&K Food Services, Country Hix, Sho-Nuff Smokehouse and more!
Last year’s event brought nearly 8,000 to Downtown Columbia and organizers feel as though this year could see more than 10,000. There is still time to become a participant in this year’s festival in the cruise-in, as a musical act or as a food truck. Reach out below and find out how!
