On May 21, deputies at the Marion County Sheriff's Office were approached by a man who alleged that he was the victim of an assault with a pistol over a disagreement about a toolset. The incident led to a 40-year-old Foxworth man being charged with aggravated assault with extreme indifference to human life.
The victim informed investigators that they and Aaron Bridges, the perpetrator, got into a disagreement over personal property, namely a toolset. The victim alleged that Bridges hit them in the face with a pistol then continued to beat them with his fists.
Because the victim is the one who signed the charge, the case remains under investigation.
The bond for Bridges was set at $7,500, and he bonded out of the Marion County Regional Correctional Facility prior to press time Tuesday. -
