A trailer in the Enon community was a total loss after a Friday afternoon blaze crumbled the structure.
The Tri-Community Fire Department responded to a fully involved structure fire at 3:05 p.m. at 70 Lawrence Daniels Lane and was on scene for 45 minutes.
“When I pulled it up, it was fully involved,” Tri-Community Chief Cole Robbins said. “Flames were coming out of all of the windows and doors, and the roof had already partially collapsed. We took up defensive tactics on it and protected the exposure of it. Ultimately the trailer was a total loss.”
Robbins said because it was already so far along, they focused more on preventing spread than extinguishing it. Robbins said they did not make contact with an owner and believe the person is incarcerated.
