HATTIESBURG, MS — Habitat for Humanity of the Pine Belt will host its annual Homeownership Program Orientation for low-income families interested in partnering with Habitat to build a safe, affordable home. Attendance at one of these sessions is required to receive an application for the program.
This is the only orientation that will be offered in 2026. Families who are interested in applying must attend one of the scheduled sessions.
To provide flexibility for working families, multiple dates and times are available:
February 23 | 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
February 24 | 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM
February 27 | 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM
February 28 | 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM

To qualify for the Habitat for Humanity of the Pine Belt Homeownership Program, applicants must live or work in Forrest, Jones, Lamar, or Marion County.
Families interested in attending must register in advance by calling 601-582-4663 and selecting the date that works best for them.
Please note:
Children should not attend the orientation. Families are asked to arrange childcare in advance.
Attendance is mandatory to receive an application. This is the only orientation that will be offered this year.
