The fifth and final category in the 2025 Softball awards is the Encore Rehabilitation, Inc. Most Improved Player award, featuring a dominant victory by West Marion’s Griffyn Harmon. The freshman outfielder went from a so-so batter to one of the Lady Trojans’ best, part of a stacked lineup in 2025. She increased her batting average from .273 to .477 this year, driving in 21 runs, scoring 25 runs, hitting three doubles and stealing 12 bases.
The runner-up in the Encore Rehabilitation, Inc. Most Improved Player award voting is CA’s Macey Branch.
Voting was split into a fan vote and ballots cast by Marion County head coaches, C-P Publisher Joshua Campbell and C-P Sports Editor Jackson Howell. The award winners will have their picture taken with their award sponsor for a future edition of the C-P.
