Kimberly Terry Rayborn and Derrell James Harrington were united in marriage on December 14, 2022. The marriage was performed at L’Auberge Provençale French Country Bed and Breakfast in White Post, Virginia, located in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley. The traditional wedding ceremony and vows were from The Book of Common Prayer and Administration of the Sacraments, and other Rites and Ceremonies of the Church, According to the use of the Protestant Episcopal Church (1818) and performed by Minister Jeff Maszal of Virginia accompanied by Celtic Harpist Elizabeth Fanning by the candlelight fireplace.
The bride is the daughter of Ms. Sherry Griner of Hattiesburg, Mississippi and Mr. James Terry of Columbia, Mississippi. Her grandparents are the late Mr. and Mrs. Dean Griner of Columbia and the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Terry of Foxworth, Mississippi.
The groom is the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Harrington of Gretna, Louisiana. Grandparents are the late Mr. and Mrs. Leonce Vincent and the late Mr. and Mrs. Edmar Harrington of Abbeville, Louisiana.
Mrs. Harrington graduated with her bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern Mississippi and will complete her master’s degree in December 2023. She works at the University of Southern Mississippi Archives. Mr. Harrington graduated from Loyola University of New Orleans and is a quality engineer with Huntington-Ingalls Shipyard in Pascagoula, Mississippi.
After a wedding trip to New York, Connecticut, and Newport, Rhode Island, the couple now resides in Gulfport, Mississippi.
