My name is Jerry Dixon, and I live in Columbia, Miss. I am a military retiree, and I served in the Vietnam War.
I am a veteran, but what is a veteran? A veteran, whether active duty, retired, discharged or reserved, is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to “The United State of America” for an amount up to and including his life. This is called “Honor.”
So many people in this country have forgotten. Have you forgotten? Freedom is NOT FREE.
Visit your local V.A. Hospital to see the cost of Freedom. May God bless America.
