Dear Editor, Antisemitism, really? God has given to the people of the world many good and perfect gifts through his chosen people, the Jewish-Hebrew nation of Israel.
She was chosen to bless all the other nations, and she surely has!
There are numerous blessings, both spiritual and secular, we enjoy today that have come from God our Father, who entrusted to Israel to deliver. Here are a few I can ascribe to.
Through her has come our Jewish founding Fathers—Father Abraham being one of the first. The God covenant cut with him established Israel. Moses is credited with being the giver of God’s law upon which all civil sane societies are based. He, too, was a Hebrew. All the Old Testament prophets were of Israel. All the authors of the entire Bible were Hebrews as they wrote with the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. (2 Peter 1:21)
Our savior Jesus was born through a Hebrew family descended from the lineage of King David. The Virgin Mary was impregnated by the Holy Spirit, thus he became known as the son of man and the son of God.
All of Christ’s disciples were Jews and through them, Christ established his church. On the day of Pentecost, he sent his Holy Spirit through a gathering of these patriots. If you are saved, you have the blessing indwelling in you. Is this blessing yours? If not, I urge you to get right with God today. Christ is nearer to his return today than he has ever been before!
We have also received through Israel’s many other good gifts that have benefitted the whole world in agriculture, medicine, industry and technology.
Do you fear God and revere him? If you are anti-Semitic you don’t! He emphatically says in Numbers 2:8 that he will bless those who bless Israel and curse those who curse her. This applies to people on a personal level and a nation on a national level.
Be sure you vote for the party and candidate that is the most pro-Israel by example. This issue may be just one of the ways God is separating the wheat from the tares (Matthew 13:24-30). -
To God be the glory!
Sincerely and speaking
the truth in love,
