POPLARVILLE, Miss. — Pearl River Community College has announced its 2025 Homecoming Court, set to be honored ahead of Thursday’s football game against Hinds as part of weeklong campus festivities. Marion County will be represented by Crystal Grace Johnson, who is serving as the Sophomore Maid for the Poplarville campus.
Johnson of Columbia is the daughter of Chris and Tibby Johnson. She is a proud graduate of East Marion High School, where she served as class president, a member of the Beta Club, cheer team captain and the National Honor Society Secretary.
At Pearl River, Johnson was the women’s basketball manager for the 2024-2025 champion basketball team. After PRCC, she plans to attend a four-year university, majoring in Information technology, with a minor in business. Her career goals include working for a competitive firm and entrepreneurship.
The court will ride in the Homecoming Parade starting at 5:15 p.m. at Seal Hall and ending at Old Stadium Drive in time for Wildcat Walk at 5:30 p.m. The
official presentation on the field is scheduled for 6:30 p.m., with kickoff at 7 p.m.
