For the second time in her career in education, Columbia native Katie Yarborough Naron was awarded the Outstanding Teacher of the Year award in the University of Mississippi’s School of Education May 2.
Naron said it was an honor to be recognized by her peers and students through the award, which she previously won in 2022.
