Johnson named MCSD Administrator of the Year

East Marion Elementary School Principal Angela Johnson has been named the Marion County School District Administrator of the Year, as voted on by her pears.
Superintendent Michael Day made the announcement Oct. 10 at the district’s board meeting and said Johnson received a “pretty dominant” percentage of the votes.

Senior arrested for drug and weapon possession

County schools track vote next Tuesday

Friendship Park playground equipment installation begins
