Brent and Lori King of Columbia announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Abigail Grace King of Columbia, to Aaron Lee McKenzie of Columbia, son of Dan McKenzie Jr. (Valerie) of Hattiesburg and Donna McKenzie of Columbia.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Paul and Jean King and Rocky and Janet Williamson, all of Columbia.
She is a 2020 graduate of Columbia High School and a 2024 graduate of William Carey University with a degree in psychology. She is a member of First Baptist Church of Columbia. She is employed with Trustmark Bank.
The future groom is the grandson of Dand and Ruth McKenzie and Clifford and Barbara Kendrick, all of Columbia.
He is a 2014 graduate of Columbia High School and a 2019 graduate of William Carey University with a degree in business administration with a finance concentration. He serves as a pianist for First Baptist Church of Columbia. He is employed with First Southern Bank.
The couple will exchange wedding vows at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 11, 2025, at First Baptist Church of Columbia.
