Dear Editor,
After a wonderful five-year run as producers and directors for downtown Columbia’s Nativity Presentation, Beverly and I need to announce we have now stepped down. It has been an outstanding opportunity to be a part of sharing God’s love in the gift of his Son to the world to tens of thousands of people.
In stepping down, we have to say an incredible thank you to all of our amazing volunteers (over 140 last year). Many of whom have been with us for many of those years even through freezing cold, last minute costume changes, blackouts and more, all with an incredibly positive spirit. Unfortunately, there are so many who deserve personal recognition that there simply is not space here.
Even so I have to give tremendous recognition to Kristian and Yolanda Agoglia who not only brought the idea to Columbia but were instrumental in its initiation and continuation for the first years. I also have to express appreciation to the Mayor and the City for their support every year and particularly last year.
Going forward we are excited to announce that Will Jordon and Jack Hampton are stepping into the roles of directors. We encourage everyone to give them all the support and involvement you have blessed Beverly and I with. It has been a privilege.
In Christ’s Love,
Mickey & Beverly Webb
