Mr. and Mrs. John Harvey of Columbia announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Hannah Laurie Harvey of Houston, Texas, to Tyler Cody Throgmorton of Houston, Texas, son of Ms. Bernadette Throgmorton of Pearl.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Dr. and Mrs. D.W. Sturdivant of Columbia and the late Mr. and Mrs. Carmel Harvey of Columbia. She is a 2012 graduate of Columbia High School, a 2016 graduate of the University of Mississippi with a bachelor’s degree in exercise science, a 2018 graduate of William Carey University with a bachelor’s degree in nursing and is a doctoral candidate in the psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner program at Texas Tech University. She is employed as a critical care nurse at Houston Methodist Hospital TMC.
The future groom is the grandson of Mrs. Lini Hoffman of Henderson, Nev., and the late Mr. Tom Hoffman. He is a 2009 graduate of Florence High School, a 2013 graduate of Belhaven University with a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology and a 2015 graduate of Belhaven University with a master’s degree in sports administration. He is employed as an account executive with High Radius Technical Solutions and is the owner of Okra Capital, LLC.
The couple will exchange wedding vows at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 20, 2021, at the home of the bride’s grandparents in Columbia.
