National Technical Honor Society students attend Leadership Conference

National Technical Honor Society (NTHS) students from the Marion County Carl Loftin Career and Technology Center attended the NTHS State Leadership Conference on Nov. 14, at the Mississippi Ag Museum in Jackson, Miss. The NTHS club is comprised of students from Columbia Academy, Columbia High School, East Marion, West Marion and homeschools. NTHS students are selected based on academics, attendance, discipline and teacher recommendation. The theme of the conference was “Adventure Awaits” which featured guest speakers, senior recognition, workshops and prizes. NTHS cosponsors are Amy Baughman, Debbie Brumfield and Melissa Taylor.
