Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 27, 2021, at Dexter Pentecostal Church in Dexter for Rev. Mikel Lamar Slocum, 62, of Foxworth, who died on Friday, Dec. 24, at his residence. Burial followed in Pierce Slocum Cemetery in Foxworth. Rev. Caroll Gatlin, Sis. Magan Kendrick, Rev. Dwight Pace, Rev. Jerry Terrell and Rev. Austin Smith officiated at the services. Dakota and Brooke Graham and Bro. Terry Terrell provided special music. Visitation was held from 5 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 26, and until the time of the services on Monday, Dec. 27, at Dexter Pentecostal Church.
