Orange Peel Consignment Shop will be hosting a fashion show April 5 featuring locals of all ages, shapes and sizes, and all of the money earned will be donated to Kids Hub Advocacy Center. Kids Hub, which has a location on Second Street in Columbia, is a member of the National Children’s Alliance and helps child abuse victims.
Orange Peel owner Kristin Tubb said the event will primarily be outside as the models will walk out of the store onto a red carpet in the parking lot, and there will be seating all along the runway. After the clothing is modeled, Orange Peel will bring racks out to show the modeled clothing available for sale.
There will be a silent auction to go along with the fashion show with high-quality items donated from all over Marion County.
Tubb said she’s really excited for the event and to be blessed with the opportunity to give back to Kids Hub.
Tickets, which will be available online, go on sale this week for the fashion show. The event April 5 begins at 6:30 p.m., and there will be music refreshments.
Orange Peel Consignment Shop is located at 127 Old Hwy. 98 in front of Barrett’s Garden Center.
