Marion County Sheriff’s Office deputies are asking for the public’s help in solving a house burglary this week that included jewelry “priceless” to the owner.
Investigations Capt. Pete Williams said it happened in the 3000 block of Mississippi 44 Tuesday.
“If you are a resident or traveled in that area Tuesday and observed anything suspicious or out of the ordinary, please contact us,” he said.
Williams said several items were taken from the home but did not provide a list.
“There was some jewelry that was priceless to the owner that was taken,” he said.
According to a Facebook post Wednesday, the owner’s mother has offered a cash reward for the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible.
Williams said investigators can be reached at (601) 736-5051.
No suspect descriptions have been released and no one was in custody as of Thursday morning. n
