UPDATE: The Sheriff's Office said Janekqua Henry, the victim's girlfriend, has been arrested and charged with second-degree murder. She's being held at the Marion County Jail.

The Marion County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal shooting today.
Josh Woodson died in the 8 a.m. incident on Bacchus Road, which is off Mississippi 13 just south of Columbia.
According to Capt. Pete Williams of the Marion County Sheriff's Office, a person of interest has been taken into custody and the matter appears to be domestic related.
Woodson’s age and place of residence were not immediately available.
