Kaitlyn Bradford is heading to a statewide stage to represent Marion County and is looking for some support from the community to get her there.
The reigning Marion County Miss Hospitality will spend a week this summer in Hattiesburg competing at the University of Southern Mississippi.
Bradford, a West Marion High School graduate and freshman at Southwest Mississippi Community College, is raising funds to help pay for the program. She’s seeking financial assistance or sponsorships from businesses.
Anyone interested can mail donations along with business cards for ads in the pageant program to P.O. Box 1162, Foxworth, MS 39483 or contact her via the Marion County Miss Hospitality Pageant Facebook page.
The pageant identifies young women between the ages of 18 and 24 for the purpose of promoting Mississippi’s tourism, industry and economic development. During the pageant contestants polish their public speaking and interview skills as well as their relationships with fellow contestants, judges and competition officials.
Bradford said she’s excited about the progress being made in Columbia and Marion County and being able to share that with visitors.
